Following on from the exciting news that the Donington F1 Collection has reopened, BAMS is pleased to confirm that Automodellismo will return to the museum on August 8th 2010.

The British Automotive Modellers Society was formed in 2006 with the aim of promoting the hobby of Automotive and Motorsport modelling in the UK and Europe. Traditionally this style of model making has been seen as a smaller element of the European modelling scene  fighting hard for its exposure at exhibitions and in the modelling press. BAMS aims to change this, through a programme of events and exhibitions along with heightened press exposure BAMS hopes to increase awareness of this part of the hobby and through this promotion develop more interest in what is a visually exciting and yet highly accessible pastime.
